what people say about us
We believe Penguins Swim School is Winchester’s go-to destination for quality, affordable swimming lessons. Please do not take our word for it, though. Here, you will find a collection of reviews from recent Penguins customers.
My daughter has been swimming with Winchester city swimming club since she was two. She loves her swimming lessons and has made huge progress with her confidence and her skills. She has hugely benefited from small groups with teacher and helpers every lesson. Thank you!
by James CorrieMy son has been swimming with Penguins for many years and absolutely loves it, the staff are very kind and patient and he's come on leaps and bounds. The swim sessions are always fun, packed with learning and sometimes challenging which is a great balance!
by Lucy ButtertonMy children attend Kings School for swimming lessons having had lessons with another provider previously. Kings school is more convenient for us and we have been really happy with WCSC. Both the children really look forward to going which I consider to be a huge achievement on the part of the instructors. Even when it is cold outside they are still keen to go. My daughter’s instructor is Max and he is brilliant. He is patient and works so hard to get her technique right. My son’s instructor was Nancy who he absolutely loved but she has now gone to university. She was always so enthusiastic and the children responded well to her. His new teacher seems great too and I am sure will be equally inspiring. Both children have improved dramatically since they started with WCSC. I would have no hesitation in recommending WCSC swimming lessons. The invoicing is well organised and administration is easy and always responded to in a timely manner.
by Catherine TyrrellAn excellent early stages swimming program, friendly and attentive teachers & support with great ratios. As a parent one of the best things is the wide range of days and times for lessons.
by Lawrie McCurrachMy son as a nervous swimmer has gained in confidence during his time and really benefitted from the small classes. It was also great for him to be able to start going in without a parent from the age of 3 (with a helper instead).
AnonymousThe adult ratio was excellent and Lucas really enjoyed himself. He actually said the timings were shorter, which means he clearly had fun and time flew by as it’s the same length of his normal lessons.
