Sponsors and Supporters

Alexander Design

2019 saw us secure a new principle sponsor for the Primary Schools Gala. Without financial support this event, the biggest in our calendar with over 270 children from 27 primary schools competing, would not be possible.

John, the principal and founder of the practice, and Juliet have been connected with the club for some time, and also have a young son in the lessons programme. With a passion for community engagement and architectural projects, and with a significant portfolio to show for it, sponsoring one of WCPSC’s community programmes seemed like a great fit for them and their practice. To find out more about John and his Winchester-based architectural practice and their many community and residential projects, check out the website http://alexanderdesign.uk.com/ or call 01962 878 833.

Round Table, Winchester

Funding provided by the Round Table, Winchester has been instrumental in helping us work towards our goal of ensuring all children can swim 25m by the time they leave Primary School.  The Round Table funds our Swim for the Future programme consisting of free swimming courses for children in target primary schools serving communities with high levels of socio-economic deprivation. It ‘tops up’ any swimming instruction provided under the school PE curriculum, providing additional, intensive support to weak and non-swimmers in Years 5 and/or 6. In addition, Round Table funding provides the Swim for the Future Playscheme, delivering swimming lessons and other activities for targeted children who will most benefit from the opportunity. The children are offered the playscheme free of charge.

At the core of Non-Profit Association Round Table is a determination to go the extra mile for friends, family and your community. From organising the biggest firework displays on November 5th to individual challenges like The Three Peaks in 24 hours, every year Round Table raise millions for great local causes and charities.
