Winchester and District Sports Association for the Disabled (WADSAD) exist to provide sport and recreational activities for all disabled persons living in the city of Winchester or in the adjoining areas.
You can access the all the sports opportunities on offer by joining WADSAD. Simply print off and complete the Membership Form below, bring along to the next session, and pass to one of the club’s Committee members.
When and where are WADSAD activities?
The club is on every Friday evening (through some school holidays as well). We run in the main hall in Riverpark leisure centre from 6pm and then swimming from 7.10pm-8.10pm.
What types of activities are there?
We run all different sports activities from tennis, badminton, table tennis, rounders, warm exercises, relay races, basket practice, netball/basketball and when we get an Archery coach we will be getting that back.
How much does it cost to join and take part in the activities
We offer a trial session session for free. Then it is £10.00 for an individual and £20.00 for a family and that is for a year. This may go up to £15 and £25 after our next AGM so please just ask.
How can I pay?
Bring it with you to your second session and there is always a member of the Wadsad team who can take it and give you a receipt.
Do I need to have a carer with me?
We also have a couple of people on a night but if you need support then please feel free to bring them along with you.
Activities include swimming (see flyer below)
