Update from CEO

Dear Members,

Congratulations to our Regional swimmers and their coaches, and thank you to Kim for supporting the swimmers throughout the competition so far.  The improvement in results in recent years has been staggering.

Thank you to the representatives who attended the strategy afternoon and helped develop the future vision and objectives of the charity.  We will be ready to publish the outcome of the meeting for members’ comments and input shortly.

To update you on recruitment, we are in the process of recruiting the full time assistant head coach.  We have been holding interviews and coaching trials over the last two weeks, so you may have seen some new faces poolside.  Thank you to the swimmers who helped with those sessions by making the applicants welcome.  We will hopefully be able to give you further information on our decision over the next two weeks.  Meanwhile thanks must go to the coaches and teachers who have been supporting the programme under Kim’s direction.

Well done also to the swimmers from Olivers Battery Primary School who are swimming in our schools programme and making good progress.

Good luck to swimmers competing this weekend.
