CEO Update

Hi all, hope these Notices find you well – it feels like only a few minutes since I was writing the last update.

This week I have been in contact with various people from within the charity to help get up to speed on IT developments, Safeguarding, and Volunteering. I will be having meetings on these important topics over the next couple of weeks and will keep you informed of progress.

The Management team have also been carefully considering how we put in place the teaching and coaching staff needed to fulfill the demands of the new and more expansive programme over the next couple of years. We have agreed a first tranche of bursaries to develop people from within the charity and are looking at external recruitment as well.

Please bear with us as we continue to bed in the new teaching and coaching programme and cover holiday leave of key personnel. Cancelling sessions is our very last resort.

Finally, I would like to offer my congratulations to our Head of Performance, Kim, who has been invited to join the Women into High Performance coach development programme administered by my old organisation, UK Coaching.

Dart 10k

Well done to Liz Hatfield. Cathy Paget and John McCabe who took part in the Dart 10k open water swim at the weekend.
