This year the system is a little different. You will each need to enter your own swimmer on the swimmeets.org website.
If you do not yet have a log in for this website follow the instructions in the “login” option on the swimmeets homepage to do this.
Once logged in, select the entry form option within the Counties section and follow the instructions.
Ensure you enter SC / LC times in the correct sections – you don’t need to do both however! The qualifying period is from 1/3/2017 so do not use times that were achieved before this date as they will be rejected.
You can revisit your entry form and make amendments (e.g. updated times from Basingstoke meet) at any point until the closing date.
Once you have submitted your entry you will receive an email from swimmeets confirming your submission.
Please forward this to Open Meets so we know you have submitted an entry and can check it.
If you don’t do this we don’t know you’ve entered and won’t be able to include you in our summary declaration!
Please make sure that the information you enter is accurate – we will check all entries but and can advise you of errors but cannot ourselves correct any errors that we find. We will send an email to you but you must make your own amendments.
After the closing date the meet organisers will undertake a further 100% check and give you a short time (usually 48 hours) to make corrections. Incorrect information after this time will lead to your swimmer not being allowed to compete. As all of this will happen over the festive period please monitor your emails.
If you have any difficulty completing your entry please contact open meets and we will be happy to help.
Entries are £6 each.
An admin charge of £3.50 will be added to each entry.
There are relay events for different age categories at the County Championships
You will receive an email before Christmas from the coaching team if you have been selected for a relay event. So that you can ensure that you are available and at the correct session.
The club enter these relays so you do not have to worry about that.
